I have been speaking internationally and providing organizational leadership consulting to organizations and leaders across the globe. In May of 2021, I was blessed to marry my best friend, Dr. Lawrence Hardy. We have been traveling and enjoying life together with our family and children.
I recently partnered with Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology to create an exciting extending education Executive Leadership Certificate Program. It is a dynamic program designed to engage, inspire, educate, and empower influential leaders, entrepreneurs, and executives in the national and global marketplace. The objective of the program is to equip leaders and executives to cultivate extraordinary leadership functioning as they navigate the new era of transformation, innovation, and disruption.
I started working in my family construction business when I was 14 years old. I became a teen mom and started college at 17. At the age of 21, I completed college and started my first construction company, with a $10,000 graduation gift from my parents. My company, life, and leadership began to grow by leaps and bounds. I experienced major triumphs, major challenges, high-level decision-making, arduous pressure, and burnout during my career tenure.
Almost 3 decades later, my team and I have overseen and completed more than $500 million in construction and development projects across the United States. In addition, I have spoken for organizations and ministries all over the world. My journey has been both exhilarating and demanding. I have experienced trauma, heartaches, betrayal, victories, divorce, fame, depression, bankruptcy, and burnout. Personal and professional struggles along with the tough times became memorable life lessons. Those times are when my greatest life and leadership lessons emerged. I learned to be brave, capable, authentic, and powerful. My secret weapons are my faith, prayer, family, leadership, self-care, and being uncompromisingly resilient.
In addition to being a wife, mother, and business leader, I am an ordained minister and leader of the “Women of Power” Women’s Ministry, at the House of Judah church in Baton Rouge, La., where my husband, Dr. Lawrence D. Hardy is senior pastor. I am currently celebrating 27 years in ministry and I am blessed to share my leadership acumen, success, and business strategies internationally, through consulting, keynote addresses, and conferences with organizations, ministries, and megachurches worldwide.
My life journey has been incredible, and I am grateful to share a beautiful blended family of six children with my husband and best friend.
